ServiceBench Announces Next Generation of Warranty Analytics in its Service Intelligence Solution

Web-Based Service Supply Chain Automation Significantly Enhanced Through Ability to Conduct Highly Intuitive Data Mining and Analysis

 

FAIRFAX, VA… June 27, 2005 – ServiceBench, Inc., the leading provider of web-based service supply chain management applications, today announced the next generation of the Warranty Analytics module within its Service Intelligence offering. Service Intelligence goes beyond general-purpose solutions to apply specific domain knowledge that pinpoints a problem and provides insight into resolution. The solution is driven by existing data that is automatically captured within ServiceBench’s on-demand system during the automation of key service related activities.

With the Warranty Analytics module, users can take advantage of an easy to use web-based system to efficiently mine the data generated as part of the warranty process and conduct highly precise analyses of the findings. Results help companies make faster, more informed decisions across the organization, while helping to predict future performance.  The new generation includes action oriented dashboards that enable companies to answer more specific questions about their data. With these newest features, users receive early warnings for product and part failures; analyze service provider performance; conduct cost analyses for labor, parts and travel; and detect fraud.

ServiceBench Service Intelligence provides a powerful tool for companies to recognize important trends early in the supply chain lifecycle and uncover previously unknown factors that contribute to these trends.  The results of the analysis can be used to improve the cost effectiveness of the service supply chain, improve the quality of the service network and increase the reliability of manufactured products.  Future Service Intelligence modules will be launched for Service Call, Field Service and Parts solutions.
